Go To Fresh Summer Face !

Summer makeup, has anyone else experienced the struggles of keeping a fresh face during the summer heat? As some might know, I recent returned from my trip to Asia. As we all know Asia is known for its hot and humid weather. Here are the products I used to help keep my face staying fresh throughout the heat.

Makeup Forever & Urban Decay 

Some of my thoughts on these products :)

Makeup Forever Mat Velvet +

Trust me this product stays put all day, in hot weather, you name it this foundation is superb for the summer :) highly recommend giving this a try, especially for those who tend to get oily throughout the day.

Urban Decay De Slick / All Nighter

I never would have believed a spray would help control my oil and keep my makeup and face staying fresh. Definitely staple products not only for the summer, but year round =)

Makeup Forever Duo Mat Powder

For that extra step to lock in my foundation I set my face with powder. Pairing this powder along with the Mat Velvet + really gives you the security that your makeup won't budge.


While traveling, I like to keep everything as simple as possible, so I like to minimize as much makeup as possible. I looked clean and fresh without having to use much. Throughout the day I did have to blot away the.. *ahem* sweat u___u* but my skin radiant afterwards without having to retouch with extra powder.

Keep it simple n____n ! Nothing is more beautiful than letting your natural self shine ;)

hello hello there my dearies
For those of you who have stayed with me this far, even with my habits of going MIA for a long time, I want to thank you for all your support. It truly means a great deal to me that you have stuck around :) <3 Even though I can not confidently say that I will be officially back to blog, I didn't want to go so long as to not update you one anything new ^^.
Everything shown has been accumulated from the past few months. I'm sure there was more, but I honestly can not remember what they were. haha Darn my short term memory.

Orangey Feel

AHHH! its been a while i know.. looks like life has finally caught up with me. With school and life it's hard to find time to blog :( im sorry! But I'm here now :) every once in a while I might be MIA for a while, but I always come back to check up 8) I hope you all have been well since the last time I've talked to you. I was never a fan of orange, especially not on me, but lately I can't seem to get enough of the color. If I want the orange color to show a little more I'll add a bit more in the other corner and slightly blend it up for more vibrancy.

It's that time of the month again and no i don't mean that haha I mean it's time for exams. I hope everyone is doing well with their exams or with whatever else is going on.

While "studying" I happened to stumble upon a video by Liah. For those of you who don't know her she is a fellow friend on youtube, whom I had the pleasure of getting to know. ;) She is super sweet and gorgeous! She makes awesome videos and I highly recommend everyone to check her out xD ! Also let me know Kristen sent you =D! 

Liah did such a great job and it looked amazing on her, it inspired me to give it a try! <3 This was my take on her version of K-Pop idol from the girl group Miss A, Suzy's photo shoot titled "Red Roses for a Blue Lady". If you are interested in Liah unni's version I will link it here.

Okay, i threw that last one in for you guys keke. As you can see i tweaked a couple things here and there to soot my eye shape, feel free to move things around as you please. Because this was very last minute, something I knew I had to try out, I wasn't able to put together my hair and do other things, but I will definitely try in the near future.
This look is really wearable and I love the pop of color on the bottom! It's a great start for those who are starting to experiment with colors ;)

I hope everyone is pressing on with their studies and I will be looking forward in spending this holiday with friends and family :) REMEMBER TO STAY WARM THIS WINTER!! its getting really chilly out!!More updates, inspired looks, and randomness to come ;)

Inspired by the Immortals

OOH MY!!
how time has flown by, I will give a full explanation in another post but I just wanted to give you guys a little something to hold every down. This is just to show that yes, I am still alive :) and i wanted to thank everyone for sticking with me, even though I have been rather inconsistent with my postings.

Yesterday after watching the movie Immortals, which to be honest was a bit disappointed because I thought it was lacking in the intensity portion. But the leaving the plot aside I was inspired by the colors in the movie. Because the movie theme is based upon Greek Mythology and Greek times, it comes to no surprise that main color would be gold.

I wanted to create a look that is very simple and easy to wear everyday. And since the holidays are coming up it would great during get togethers.

Again forgive my unprofessional photography skills, its new to me still. keke ^~^
This look is very wearable ;) Dont be afraid to pay with colors, its all about gradually incorporating it in xP

I am thinking about doing a whole series based on this theme, let me know if this is something that you guys are interested in.

Start The Morning Fresh!

Hello dolls~!!

Everyday I like to start my day off with a fresh face 8D

First I always start off washing my face and applying my face routine {which will be posted and linked soon}
After all that is done, I will sometimes start off with a primer.

On most days I reach for my Etude House Collagen Moistfull Essence In Primer.
I let that sit for a few seconds before dotting a base/bbcream all over my face. I tend to switch off which ones I use depending on my mood and how the weather is like.

The most reached for are Missha M Perfect Cover, Lioele Dollish Veil Vita, and Dr. Jart Silver label. After dotting it all over my face i use a brush or fingers to blend it all in. 

I let that settle on to my skin before topping it off with Mac Mineralize Skinfinish Natural, Makeup Forever Duo Mat Powder, or, Etude House Dream On Pact. Then I'm done and ready to start my day ! ^^


This is optional, but when I do feel like adding a bit more, I like to give a little warmth and definition to my face I use Mac Mineralize Skinfinish Natural in a color 2-3 shades darker than my skin tone. Another option that i go for is either Nars bronzing powder, The Blam bronzer, or NYC bronzing powder. I follow the hollows of my cheeks and jaw line blending it into my temples and whatever is left on the brush i shade the sides of my nose.
At times I will finish the look off with a soft wash of color on my cheeks, usually in the pink to coral family, and highlight with a pearl iridescent powder or cream. 
I also never forget to hydrate my lips with a balm that contains SPF and a gloss that gives my lips a bit of a tint before leaving the house.

That about wraps up my everyday fresh faced morning. On most days I just use bb cream and set with a powder. I find it gives my face a more refreshed feel. On days were I wish to look more dewy/moisturized I either don't set with a powder or spray a mist on top of the powder.

Its an Easy and simple everyday routine to start off your day. Of course you may add or substitute as you wish.
